About

Probably Tulsa's Best Pub

While I was a student at Notre Dame I spent a semester studying in Dublin. While I was in Ireland I became enchanted by the country’s unique pub culture.

I was intrigued to see that the local public house was much more than just a place to get a pint and a bite to eat. It was the neighborhood gathering place for everything and everyone - regardless of age.

When I returned home to Oklahoma after graduation, I kept searching for a pub similar to the ones I frequented in  Dublin, pubs like The Stags Head and Porterhouse. However, none of the establishments felt right, so I decided to build a pub of my own.

In 2004, I opened the first McNellie's in Tulsa. Now, four years later, I've opened McNellie's in Oklahoma City and I'm about to open another in Norman. The pubs feature menus with fresh, reasonably priced food and an atmosphere that is ideal for everyone - including families with young children.

In addition, the pubs have a great selection of draught and bottled beers, plus an impressive collection of Irish and Scotch whiskey.

Cheers,

Elliot
